Clinical Research Associate

This is an entry level clinical position to assist clinical operations in the management of clinical trials, vendors, Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and the processing of clinical data.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist Clinical Trial Manager with:

• Initiation of new clinical trial sites
• Collection and review of clinical sites' regulatory documents and compliance
• Site management in conjunction with CROs
• Invoice, payments and clinical sample tracking
• Review of subject safety and other data collection
• Maintenance of Patient Tracking Records
• Maintenance of Trial Master Files
• Additional projects and tasks as needed

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational and planning skills. Self directed.
• Detail oriented and participates well in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask to ensure tasks are completed to meet timelines.
• Performs new jobs with minimal guidance
• Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine course of action

Skills and Experience

• Proficient computer skills across multiple applications
• AA degree or two years college level work
• 2-5 years experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• 2-5 years medical, clinical or hospital experience; oncology experience a plus
